How do I enter my initial inventory into QuickBooks?


What should I input?

You need to input stock and its value into QuickBooks. You need to report the value of inventory and your cost to purchase.

Log into QuickBooks. On the left, click vendors. Add a new vendor called default vendor. On the top right, click new transaction and select bill. Enter each SKU, their quantity on hand, and the value of the inventory. Please see the attached example.
