Bulk Edit Customers in QuickBooks Desktop



Cloud Cart Connector only reads existing customers and inserts new ones. In this example, we will bulk edit a series of customers by changing the parent customer. Cloud Cart Connector can read customers, even if the parent customer changes.


Here are the steps:

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. On the top menu, go to lists > add / edit multiple list entries.
  3. On the left, ensure customers is selected.
  4. On the right, click customize columns.
  5. On the right box, add the Full Customer: Job Name to the left box. Using the up and down arrows, move the field to the desired order on the page.
  6. In the job of column, select the parent customer.
  7. Copy the job of column value.
  8. Perform a paste in every customer that needs the parent.
