How do I change accounts for new items?



Our software will use a default item asset, COGS, and income account for new items.

Change Accounts for New Items

You can change the default accounts by following these steps:

  1. Login to
  2. Click Configure under your Existing Connection
  3. Go to the section entitled: New Order and Product Accounts
  4. Using the drop-down, select the appropriate QuickBooks account
